This dehydrated lime was donated in 2004. It was left over from a tequila party. It had fallen to the floor and was lost. There had been so many parties, that the donor was unsure which party it originated from, but estimates that it was likely from 2003.

As this lime dried it shrunk and became very hard and rumpled in appearance. Contrast it to the Mexican lime which remained much more uniformly rounded as it dried.  NEXT >
