This dehydrated sweet potato specimen has the notorious distinction of being the most scatological in appearance of any specimen in the Dehydrated Food Museum’s collection. Fortunately its resemblance to stool ends there, as this specimen is utterly odorless.

For years, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, this sweet potato was among several that were stored on top of a refrigerator by an individual who could be characterized as a “pack rat.” The anonymous donor was generously willing to part with this single specimen and bestow it to the museum.  NEXT >
